Files are processed on your device — nothing is uploaded

File tools that never upload your files.

Convert, compress and resize images. Merge, split and rotate PDFs. Every one of these runs inside your browser tab — your documents stay on your device, because there is nowhere for them to go.

How it works

Three things make this different from the usual converter.

LOCAL

The browser does the work

Images go through the Canvas API and PDFs through pdf-lib, both running as JavaScript in your tab. There is no back end. Load the page, pull out your network cable, and the tools still work.

PRIVATE

Nothing to leak

Hosted converters keep a copy of your file for hours or days. Since nothing is transmitted here, there is no copy to retain, no breach to be caught in, and no policy to trust. Check it yourself in your browser's network tab.

UNLIMITED

No arbitrary caps

Upload limits exist because bandwidth and storage cost money. Neither applies here, so there is no 10 MB ceiling, no daily quota, no queue, and no upsell to a paid tier at file number three.

Good to know

Your files are never sent anywhere. The one thing your browser does fetch from the network is the code for the tools themselves: the PDF library from a public CDN, and the fonts. Those requests carry no information about your files.

Re-encoding strips metadata. When an image is converted, compressed or resized, EXIF data — including GPS location, camera model and capture time — is discarded. That is usually what you want before publishing a photo, but keep your originals if you need it.

Some things genuinely need a server. OCR on scanned documents, PDF-to-Word conversion with layout reconstruction, and removing passwords from encrypted PDFs are not offered here, because doing them well in a browser is not yet realistic. Better to say so than to do them badly.
