How to images to pdf
- Drop your images in. They are added in the order you drop them.
- Drag the rows to reorder pages. The number on the left is the page it will become.
- Pick a Page size. Fit page to image makes every page exactly the shape of its image, which is right for photo albums and screenshots. A4 or Letter gives you a printable document with the image centred.
- Set a margin if you are printing, name the file, then press Create PDF.
Why this one is different
Almost every free file tool works the same way: you upload your file to a company's server, their machine does the work, and you download the result. That means a copy of your document sat on someone else's hard drive, governed by a privacy policy you did not read.
Filebench does the work in the browser tab you are already looking at. There is no upload step because there is no server to upload to. The practical consequences: no file size limit, no queue, no account, no watermark, and it keeps working if your connection drops after the page loads.

Questions
Can I control the page order?
Yes. Drag any row in the file list up or down and the page order changes with it. The numbered column on the left always shows the page each image will become.
Why does my PDF look bigger than the images I put in?
Images are re-encoded as JPEG when embedded, and PDF adds structure around them. If the result is too heavy, lower the image quality setting, or run the images through the compressor first and then build the PDF.
Does it handle mixed orientations?
Yes. With page size set to A4 or Letter and orientation set to Match each image, portrait photos get portrait pages and landscape photos get landscape pages in the same document.
Is the text in my scanned documents searchable?
No. This places the image on the page as an image; it does not perform OCR, so the result is a picture of text rather than text. Anything requiring search or copy-paste needs a dedicated OCR step.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Images are embedded one at a time, so hundreds of pages work — expect it to take a few seconds per dozen high-resolution photos.
