Split, delete and rotate PDF pages

Pull out the pages you need, drop the ones you do not, fix a scan that came in sideways, or explode a document into one file per page. Click the page numbers or type a range.

How to split, delete and rotate pdf pages

  1. Drop in a single PDF. The tool reads the page count and shows a numbered chip for every page.
  2. Choose what to do: keep only the pages you select, delete the pages you select, or split every page into its own PDF.
  3. Select pages by clicking the numbered chips, or type a range such as 1-3, 7, 10-12. The two stay in sync, so you can click a few then edit the text.
  4. Optionally rotate the pages you are keeping — useful for scans that came in on their side. Press Apply.

Why this one is different

Almost every free file tool works the same way: you upload your file to a company's server, their machine does the work, and you download the result. That means a copy of your document sat on someone else's hard drive, governed by a privacy policy you did not read.

Filebench does the work in the browser tab you are already looking at. There is no upload step because there is no server to upload to. The practical consequences: no file size limit, no queue, no account, no watermark, and it keeps working if your connection drops after the page loads.

Questions

How do I extract one page from a PDF?

Choose Keep only the selected pages, click that page's number (or type it in the Pages box), and press Apply. You get a one-page PDF.

How do I split a PDF into separate files?

Choose Split every page into its own PDF. You get one file per page, named after the original with a page number appended, and a Download all (.zip) button once there is more than one.

What range formats does the Pages box accept?

Single pages and ranges separated by commas: 1, 4, 9, 2-8, or a mix like 1-3, 7, 10-12. Spaces are ignored, out-of-range numbers are dropped, and duplicates are collapsed.

Does rotating change the page content?

No. It sets the page's rotation property, which is how PDF viewers and printers decide which way up to render it. The underlying content is untouched and nothing is re-rendered, so there is no quality loss.

Can I reorder pages inside a PDF?

Indirectly. Extract the pages you want as separate files, then combine them in the order you want with the merge tool. A single-step page reordering view is on the list.
